CACI
The non-surgical face lift
Known as the non-surgical face lift, the CACI (Computer Aided Cosmetology Instrument) is a non-surgical device that helps to tone, sculpt and lift. The procedure has over 20 years of medical research and works by combining the stimulation of a unique patented electrical waveform with the natural occurring bio-electric current of the body to achieve visible results on sagging muscles and skin tissue without the need for invasive needles or surgery.
For optimum results, a course of six treatments is required within 2-3 weeks. A monthly maintenance treatment is required thereafter.

Frequently asked questions
What is a CACI facial?
CACI (Computer Aided Cosmetology Instrument) uses gentle microcurrent to stimulate the facial muscles. The aim is to tone and tighten the look of the face and jawline in a relaxing hour, with no needles.
How does microcurrent work?
The device sends very small electrical impulses, similar to the body’s own natural bio-electrical signals, through probes that glide over the face. The current stimulates the facial muscles, a bit like a workout for the face.
Does CACI hurt?
No. Most people feel a slight tingling or a warm, energised sensation. The microcurrent is close to sub-sensory. Some steps, such as the wrinkle comb, can tingle more.
Will I see a difference after one facial?
Many clients notice smoother, brighter-looking skin and more defined contours straight away. Results are temporary and vary from person to person, so a single facial is a good way to try it.
If I start the treatment but then decide to stop, will my skin deteriorate?
Your skin will not be affected by stopping treatment, but will gradually return to how it was prior to treatment.
Is there any downtime? Can I go out afterwards?
There is no downtime. You can go straight back to work or out for the evening. Some people have slight redness that fades within a few hours.
Who shouldn’t have a CACI facial?
Treatment isn’t suitable if you are pregnant, have epilepsy, diabetes, a heart condition or pacemaker, a history of cancer, thrombosis, facial implants, or a skin disease or open lesions in the area. It isn’t suitable within six months of surgery. Please tell Cristina about any of these when you book.
I’ve had Botox or fillers. Can I still book?
Yes, with a gap. CACI guidance is to wait around three months after Botox and two weeks after dermal fillers, and to avoid the treated areas. Tell Cristina about any injectables when you book. Some medication, such as antidepressants, blood pressure tablets and muscle relaxants, can also reduce the effect.
CACI or Botox: what’s the difference?
Botox is an injectable prescription treatment that relaxes muscles. CACI is a non-invasive facial that stimulates and tones them, with no needles and no downtime, and its effects are temporary and build with regular visits. They do different things, and some clients have both.
